Summer garden June 2020

This year I have teamed the swing chair with a geometric print out door rug with similar colour palette to the swing chair rather than complimentary opposite colours as in 2019’s look.

An inviting garden seating area June 2019

My garden is another area that I use regularly in the summer months and I wanted to design a seating area that was cosy and inviting.

Before creating the scheme for this seating area the space was quite bare. I needed to create a scheme that complimented the swing chair.

The scheme was created with a turquoise outdoor rug in a trellis design that picked up the colours of the side table and complimented it's arabesque design.  The turquoise rug also highlighted the orange strips on the swing chair while successfully holding it's own space on the ground.  Blue and turquoise green botanical print scatter cushions added comfort and mimicked the foliage of the wisteria above.

Refurbishment of a small kitchen in a flat in Cambridgeshire.

Before refurbishment the kitchen was cold and uninspiring place to be in.

With the small budget the client had we replaced the flooring and work top with pattern and gloss finish in-order to reflect the light and create a vibrant and interesting space.

The interior design for a house in Croydon involved space planning, creating warm and cozy schemes for each room and lighting design for the family room, dining room, drawing room and kitchen.

Scheme 1
The Interior design for the family room and dining room was classic with a modern feel.  This gave the interior a homely yet a smart finish.

Scheme 2
To safe guard the interior design scheme against disappointments, I created a second scheme with beige damask wall paper, so that the clients could choose exactly the style they wanted.  The couple were able to visualise exactly what they were getting and were able to confidently contribute in the development of the design.

Plan of the kitchen layout and breakfast area drawn using Auto-Cad and rendered in Photoshop.
I have used slate flooring and granite work-tops with off white cupboard finish and mat chrome handles.  Extra large black and white paisley print wall paper was used in the breakfast area with red glass splash backs in the kitchen.  The kitchen walls were painted white.  Red and off-white striped linen fabric was used as Roman blinds in the kitchen window.
